NOM CONCEPT STUDIO

AN ONGOING EXPLORATION, EVOLUTION, AND IMAGINATION OF SPACES THAT EMBODY THE JOURNEYS OF THEIR INHABITANTS

NOM Concept Studio is a creative practice focused on architectural concepts and interior design, shaping environments that feel calm, warm, and timeless. The studio approaches each project as an ongoing exploration of space, balancing form, materiality, and atmosphere to create environments that feel calm, warm, and timeless.

Rooted in a collaborative and intuitive process, NOM works closely with clients to shape architecturalconcepts that respond to their needs, rhythms, and surroundings. Rather than following trends, the studio focuses on honest materials, clean lines, and thoughtful details, providing a clear design vision that serves as the foundation for every project.

NOM is led by architect and designer Nia Jorquera, originally from Chile and currently based in Siargao Island, Philippines. With a background in both residential and commercial architecture, her work naturally bridges the gap between structural concepts and interiors, with a strong emphasis on how spaces are experienced and inhabited.

Her practice has evolved through projects in Chile, the Philippines, Bali, and Mexico, shaping a design language informed by place, material, and intuition. Today, Nia operates globally as a Concept Architect, working remotely with clients across different regions to deliver residential and interior designs that are both functional and emotionally resonant.

The name NOM comes from the phrase “Not M, it’s N,” a response to being often called Mia instead of Nia. It represents a personal design perspective shaped by a unique way of seeing and creating.
